🗣️ Speech Hon Gerry Brownlee (New Zealand National Party — Member for Ilam)
Time unknown

When the House resumes on Tuesday, 21 August, the Government will look to complete the third reading of the Appropriation (2012/13) Estimates Bill and the remaining stages of the Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf (Environmental Effects) Bill. The Government also intends to progress a number of other bills on the Order Paper.

🗣️ Speech Sir Rt Hon Trevor Mallard (New Zealand Labour Party — Member for Hutt South)
Time unknown

Can I inquire of the Leader of the House whether the Government has abandoned its intention to move next week on liquor law reform, given the intemperate comments of the Minister in charge of the bill?

🗣️ Speech Hon Gerry Brownlee (New Zealand National Party — Member for Ilam)
Time unknown

No. We have not made a decision about a time for the bill to come into the House, so clearly we have not abandoned anything.
