Points of Order — Leave for Introduction—Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Amending Primary Function of Bank) Amendment Bill
I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. To help the beleaguered, desperate exporters of this country, I seek leave—
💬 Mr SPEAKER: Order!
I am seeking leave.
💬 Mr SPEAKER: Order! No, no. When members seek leave to do anything, they do not have a little speech about anything prior to it. I am happy to let the member to seek leave for what he wishes to seek leave for, but he does not preface his seeking leave with a little speech.
I seek leave to have my bill on the Reserve Bank drawn from the ballot and presented to Parliament right now.
Leave is sought for that course of action. Is there any objection? There is objection.
