When the House resumes on Tuesday, 21 June the Government intends to hold the combined 3-hour debate on the second readings of the Appropriation (2010/11 Supplementary Estimates) Bill and the Imprest Supply (First for 2011/12) Bill. This debate will be followed by the consideration of two amendments to the supplementary estimates bill by the House in Committee. The Government also intends to make further progress on the Telecommunications (TSO, Broadband, and Other Matters) Amendment Bill.

🗣️ Speech Sir Rt Hon Trevor Mallard (New Zealand Labour Party — Member for Hutt South)
Time unknown

I will just check with the Minister: when he said “two amendments”, does that mean the two clauses that relate to Canterbury, or does it mean there is a further substantive amendment?

🗣️ Speech Simon Power (New Zealand National Party — Member for Rangitīkei)
Time unknown

My memory is that they relate to Canterbury. If that is not the case, I will let the member know.
