Points of Order — Absence of Members—Effect on Voting
Time unknown
I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. We have reached an interesting position here. I seek your assurance, given that so many members are absent from the House today, that the whips will be truly reflecting numbers when they vote on two significant bills later this afternoon.
💬 Mr SPEAKER: The member knows that it is the responsibility of all parties to make sure the numbers they are voting in the House are correct.
