Time unknown

I apologise to the House that I have not had a chance to talk to my colleagues about this, but I seek leave to move without debate and without notice acknowledgment of, and condolences for, the death of a New Zealand soldier, John Howard, in Afghanistan while serving with the British Parachute Regiment.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: Is there any objection to that course of action? There is none.

I move, That this House note with sadness the loss of New Zealander Private John Howard, serving with the British Parachute Regiment in Afghanistan, and offer its condolences to his parents, Roger Howard and Anne Scott, family, and friends.

Motion agreed to.
