Under Standing Order 35(1)(c) I have been advised by the Labour Party that its parliamentary membership has changed, and that the Hon Chris Carter is no longer a member of the Labour Party for parliamentary purposes. Accordingly, under Standing Order 34(4) the Hon Chris Carter is from 10 August 2010 regarded as an Independent member for parliamentary purposes. Allocations of speaking slots and oral questions have been adjusted. Allocations of funding to the Labour Party and to the Hon Chris Carter have also been adjusted.
