The House will lift this afternoon for a 1-week adjournment. When the House resumes on Tuesday, 15 June, priority will be given to completing debate on the Appropriation (2010/11 Estimates) Bill, the Tariff (New Zealand-Hong Kong, China Closer Economic Partnership Agreement) Amendment Bill, and the Policing (Involvement in Local Authority Elections) Amendment Bill. It is expected that Wednesday, 16 June will be a members’ day.

When the House has completed its responsibilities with regard to the Budget debate and the financial review debates for Crown entities, is it the Government’s intention to introduce legislation amending the Crown Minerals Act to take into account the consultation that the Government has been doing on schedule 4 lands?
