🗣️ Speech David Garrett (ACT New Zealand — List Member)
Time unknown

I seek the leave of the House for the ACT Party’s votes on the third reading of the Waikato-Tainui Raupatu Claims (Waikato River) Settlement Bill to be cast as Noes, and for the vote to be recorded in the Journals of the House of Representatives.

The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Eric Roy): The provision is set out in Parliamentary Practice in New Zealand by McGee, at page 204. Leave is sought for that purpose. Is there anyone opposed to that course of action? It appears not; the Journals will therefore record that.
