Speaker’s Statements — Call—Members Seeking

Before I call the next item of business, I just remind new members that the kawa of this House is that when members want to speak, they call. The Speaker does not know whether a person is standing up to go out to the toilet, to go and get a cup of tea, or to do something else, so would members please call so that Speaker knows who wishes to speak. That is the kawa of the House.
