I move, That urgency be accorded the adjourned debate on the first reading and remaining stages of the Electoral Amendment Bill. This bill overturns a number of the provisions in the Electoral Finance Act that caused a great deal of difficulty and angst during the last election period. The Government considers it desirable that this bill be passed into law as soon as possible.
