Business Statement
Time unknown
When the House resumes on Tuesday, 17 February it is the Government’s intention to progress the Electoral Amendment Bill, the Sentencing (Offender Levy) Amendment Bill, and other first readings to be introduced next week.
Time unknown
Can we have an indication from the Leader of the House whether it is the intention to take urgency next week? If not, it is presumably, therefore, the intention to allow a members’ day to occur on Wednesday, as would occur under Standing Orders.
Time unknown
It is the Government’s intention to take urgency next week. A members’ day is unlikely. It is also likely that the House will be in urgency until around 10 p.m. next Thursday night, as well.
