Points of Order — Emissions Trading Scheme Select Committee—Appointments
I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. Did anyone move a motion regarding the membership of the special select committee to review the emissions trading scheme? It has not happened.
The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Eric Roy): Yes, it was included in the Government motion.

We thought there were to be two motions.

The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (Eric Roy): I was not told that there were to be two motions. Would the Clerk advise. The Clerk has advised me that it was a single motion. The membership of the committee was clearly set out in the Government motion.
