Points of Order — Citizens Initiated Referendum on Smacking—Date

I raise a point of order, Madam Speaker. I seek the leave of the House to move—and I have notified all parties of this—members’ motion No. 3 in my name, recommending that the referendum on the criminalisation of smacking be held on the day of the 2008 general election.
