Next week the House will go into a 2-week adjournment. When the House resumes on Tuesday, 17 June, priority will be given to the remaining stages of the Summary Offences (Tagging and Graffiti Vandalism) Amendment Bill, the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Amendment Bill (No 2), the Births, Deaths, Marriages, and Relationships Registration Amendment Bill, and the motion regarding the Reserve Bank of New Zealand funding agreement. Wednesday, 18 June, is a members’ day.

Could the Leader of the House indicate whether the Government is planning to extend the report-back date on the Climate Change (Emissions Trading and Renewable Preference) Bill, and, indeed, the Biofuel Bill, which are both currently before select committees.

That is a matter for both the select committees and the Business Committee. The Business Committee has already extended the report-back date for the Climate Change (Emissions Trading and Renewable Preference) Bill to 16 June.
