Next week the House will go into a 1-week adjournment. When the House resumes, priority will be given to the remaining stages of the Biosecurity and Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Legislation Amendment Bill, the Securities (Local Authority Exemption) Amendment Bill, the Social Assistance (Debt Prevention and Minimisation) Amendment Bill, the Human Tissue Bill, and the Copyright (New Technologies) Amendment Bill. The first Wednesday back is a members’ day. The maiden statement of Su’a William Sio will take place at approximately 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 1 April.
