I move, That the House congratulate Basil Morrison, President of Local Government New Zealand, for his recent appointment as the new chairman of the Commonwealth Local Government Forum, the the first person from New Zealand and the South Pacific to serve in this role, an outstanding achievement in the furthering of importance of local government and democracy.
