Pursuant to discussions we have had with members of other parties, I seek leave for the third reading of the Parole Amendment Bill (No 2) to be discharged and the bill set down for recommittal forthwith for consideration of amendments to clauses 105, 115A, and 138(2), and then for the bill to be set down for third reading together with the third readings of the Sentencing Council Bill, the Bail Amendment Bill, the Sentencing Amendment Bill (No 3), and the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Amendment Bill.
