🗣️ Speech David Benson-Pope (New Zealand Labour Party — Member for Dunedin South)
Time unknown

I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. At the end of question time Judith Collins asked for the leave of the House to table a document, and there was apparently some objection to that. I ask for leave to invite her to repeat that request. I am sure there will be no further objection from my colleagues.

💬 Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER: You cannot seek leave for anyone else.

I did not seek leave for anyone else to do anything. I sought leave of the House to invite Mrs Collins to ask that question again.

💬 Mr DEPUTY SPEAKER: We are going to continue with the general debate. Thank you for raising the issue, Mr Benson-Pope. It is no issue.
