Points of Order — Parliamentary Press Gallery—Parliamentary Complex

I raise a point of order, Madam Speaker. Can you reassure the House that no accredited member of the parliamentary press gallery will be impeded for political reasons from covering events in Parliament that have been announced as being open to the media? I think it is important that there is a ruling on that matter, because there is on tape a comment by a member of the police, in these precincts, saying that the Chinese officials told him that they will cancel the ceremony if Mr Nick Wang, an accredited member of the press gallery, remains there to take photos of the event. That is clearly political pressure from a foreign power on our Parliament, and it cannot be accepted.
