Points of Order — Taito Phillip Field—Reference to Family
← Questions for Oral Answer — Questions to Ministers
Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Compensation Amendment Bill →
Time unknown
I raise a point of order, Madam Speaker. With due respect, I noted that Dr the Hon Lockwood Smith made reference to my wife, not only today but on many other occasions. I want to point out—
💬 Madam SPEAKER: That is not a point of order, I am sorry.
Well, I thought there was a convention that states that reference to members’ spouses and families should not be raised on the floor of this House.
💬 Madam SPEAKER: The member knows that if members want to raise such matters they must do it at the time the matter is first raised.
