Next week the House will go into a 2-week adjournment. When the House resumes on Tuesday, 18 July, priority will be given to the start of the Appropriation (2006/07) Estimates Bill, which is in total an 8-hour debate. The remainder of that debate will be held on Tuesday, 25 July. For the remainder of the first week, the Government intends to make progress on the first readings of the Health (Drinking Water) Amendment Bill, the Business Law Reform Bill, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand Amendment Bill, and the remaining stages of the Protected Objects Amendment Bill and the Coroners Bill.
