Time unknown

I raise a point of order, Madam Speaker. I seek the leave of the House to move without debate the motion in my name: “That the House refer to the Privileges Committee a question of privilege relating to an alleged contempt under Standing Order 400(b) by Hon David Benson-Pope, who told the House on 12 May 2005 that ‘I have not been guilty of, or involved in, any inappropriate behaviour in my 24 years as a secondary school teacher’, despite what the police have described as ‘evidential sufficiency … that, prima facie, an assault(s) did occur.’ ”

💬 Madam SPEAKER: Leave is sought. Is there any objection? There is objection.
