Next week in the House, the valedictory statements will be the first item taken after questions for oral answer on Tuesday, 2 August. Following the valedictory statements, the Government intends to take urgency to complete the remaining stages of the Appropriation (2005/06 Estimates) Bill, including the Imprest Supply Bill (Second for 2005/06) Bill; Government notice of motion No. 1 on the Misuse of Drugs Act; the remaining stages of the Resource Management and Electricity Legislation Amendment Bill; Government notice of motion No. 2 in relation to the Standing Orders; and Government notice of motion No. 3 in relation to the register of members’ pecuniary interests. At the conclusion of urgency, the adjournment motion will be put to the House.
