Before I get into any of the detail of Part 2, I want to make some general comments. This bill is an affront to New Zealanders. The Labour minority Government has brought it in under urgency—with the help of the Greens, who are struggling to find some relevance, because they have been totally irrelevant in the last few years. An election is nigh, and the Greens are struggling to find relevance by supporting this bill.
