Next week in the House priority will be given to the remaining stages of the Statutes Amendment Bill (No 4), the second readings of the Land Transport Amendment Bill, the Medicines (Specified Biotechnical Procedures) Amendment Bill, and the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Bill, and the first readings of the Evidence Bill and the Climate Change Response Amendment Bill. Wednesday is a members’ day.

I wonder whether the Leader of the House could tell us of his proposals for the Government Superannuation Fund Amendment Bill, which was on the Order Paper a wee while ago but appears to have slipped off it, or to have gone so far away that we cannot see it. That bill deals with police superannuation in particular, and it has relevance to some 2,000 police at the moment who would like to plan their future and to have that bill dealt with by the House by 1 July.

I am not aware that there is a Government Superannuation Fund Amendment Bill. The next one up that I am aware of is in relation to widows and 90 percent indexation. I look forward to the member’s support. I wonder whether the member is referring to the Police Amendment Bill (No 2); I was not aware that it dealt with that matter.
