🗣️ Speech Hon Sir Michael Cullen (New Zealand Labour Party — List Member)
Time unknown

Pursuant to an agreement in the Business Committee that had the support of all parties, I seek leave for there to be a ballot to draw two members’ bills tomorrow.

The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (H V Ross Robertson): Is there any objection to that course of action being followed?

💬 Hon Richard Prebble: I apologise to the Minister, but I could not quite hear what he was saying. Did he say that everyone has agreed?

Yes; Ken Shirley agreed.

💬 Hon Richard Prebble: God, we’re getting soft! OK.

The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (H V Ross Robertson): I take it from that there is no objection? Thank you very much. There will be a ballot to draw two members’ bills tomorrow.
