Legislation (Incorporation by Reference) Bill
Instruction to Committee
Time unknown
In order to facilitate the debate on this second reading, which will cover matters that at the moment are not part of the bill, I seek leave that it be an instruction to the Committee of the whole House on the Legislation (Incorporation by Reference) Bill that it have the power to consider and, if it thinks fit, adopt the amendments set out on Supplementary Order Paper 361. We are seeking leave now that the Committee can consider the Supplementary Order Paper, to enable the House to include those amendments in its consideration of the second reading.
The ASSISTANT SPEAKER (H V Ross Robertson): Is there any objection to that course of action being taken? There is.
