Business Statement
Next week the House will go into a 1-week adjournment. When the House resumes on 29 March, priority will be given to the Committee stage of the Appropriation (2003/04 Financial Review) Bill, a 4-hour debate, and the remaining stages of the Lawyers and Conveyancers Bill. Priority will also be given to any first readings on the Order Paper.
I wonder whether the Leader of the House might tell us how many third readings he currently has on the Order Paper and intends to complete in the next short while, and also whether the much-promised Resource Management Act bill will see the light of day on the Order Paper before the House rises for an event later this year.
I have one third reading on the Order Paper, and I hope to finish it by roughly 5 oβclock today.
