I raise a point of order, Madam Speaker. I bring to your attention the great difficulties that some of us are having in getting answers to written questions from the Minister of Health within the time frame of 7 days required under the Standing Orders. I now have 14 written questions for which answers are long overdue. Some of those answers, relating to waiting lists—and I know that that information is available—are a mere 6 weeks overdue, but some of the questions go back almost a year, and despite constant correspondence between my office and that of the Minister of Health, the answers are still not forthcoming. The Minister makes frequent statements about being open and transparent, but, in fact, she is the opposite. I ask your guidance, Madam Speaker, as to how we can get answers to written questions that have been submitted in the proper way.

💬 Madam SPEAKER: If the member sends me a list of those questions, then I will look into it immediately.
