Voting — Correction

Before I call on private and local orders of the day Nos 1 and 2, I wish to inform the House that yesterday, when the House was considering the motion referring the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms (Approvals and Enforcement) Amendment Bill to a select committee, the result of the vote on the Hon Dr Nick Smith’s amendment to the motion was incorrectly announced. The correct result is Ayes 45, Noes 74.
