List Member Vacancy

I wish to advise the House that the seat of Donna Awatere Huata became vacant, by application of section 55A of the Electoral Act 1993, on 19 November 2004.

I have been advised by the Chief Electoral Officer that, pursuant to section 137 of the Electoral Act 1993, Kenneth Xiaoxuan Wang has been declared to be elected a member of the House of Representatives in place of Donna Lynn Awatere Huata. I understand that Kenneth Wang is present and wishes to affirm. Would he please come forward to the Chair on my right.
