πŸ—£οΈ Speech Hon Sir Michael Cullen (New Zealand Labour Party β€” List Member)
Time unknown

Next week in the House, as prearranged, the Government has scheduled the first reading of the New Zealand Sign Language Bill on Tuesday so that supporters and signers can be present. This will be followed by the joint debate on the Appropriation (2003/04 Supplementary Estimates) Bill and the Imprest Supply (First for 2004/05) Bill, and further work on the Committee stage of bills being considered later, if necessary. Wednesday is a members’ day. On Thursday the first readings of the Civil Union Bill and the Relationships (Statutory References) Bill will be progressed.

πŸ—£οΈ Speech Hon Gerry Brownlee (New Zealand National Party β€” Member for Ilam)
Time unknown

I wonder whether the Leader of the House would be prepared to assist us by indicating at this early stage where the Civil Union Bill and the Relationships (Statutory References) Bill might be sent for select committee consideration.

πŸ—£οΈ Speech Hon Sir Michael Cullen (New Zealand Labour Party β€” List Member)
Time unknown

I do not think a final decision on those matters has been taken at this stage. I will consult with the member about that later.
