Amended Answers to Oral Questions — Question No. 8 to Minister

I seek leave under Standing Order 343 to make a personal explanation concerning the answer I gave to question No. 8 today in the House. I need to make a correction. In answer to the question I said that the number of people under the age of 24 who were in receipt of an unemployment benefit was 22,949. I overstated the case considerably. There are only 20,146 such people, and I am sure that members are delighted at that improvement.
