πŸ—£οΈ Speech Hon Sir Michael Cullen (New Zealand Labour Party β€” List Member)
Time unknown

I seek leave for the Committee stage of the Income Tax Bill to be set down for 30 March, to be up to a maximum of 3 hours, and for the House to proceed directly after the Committee stage to a motion from the Minister in charge for the third reading of the bill, after which the debate is to be adjourned until 8 April, without the bill being reprinted under Standing Order 266(2). I am referring to the bill on the Table. Members will understand why, in a bill of this sort, which does not introduce any new policy, it is desirable to avoid reprinting it between the two stages.

πŸ—£οΈ Speech Mr SPEAKER

Is there any objection to that course being followed? There is not.
