Urgent Debates Declined — Tariff Reductions

I have received a number of applications for debates under Standing Order 376. Rod Donald seeks to debate the Government’s decision to reduce the level of tariffs on imported goods. The decision is a particular case of recent occurrence involving ministerial responsibility, but I cannot regard a decision on the level of tariffs post-2005 as requiring the immediate attention of the House by way of an urgent debate.
