Time unknown

I raise a point of order, Mr Speaker. My understanding was—and maybe you were going to do it after question time—that you would come back to the House today on issues with regard to the charges that Mr Ardern faces in relation to the way that his statement was taken, and whether that would be admissible in the court. Given that the House will be adjourned for the next 2 weeks, I presume that any decision you make during that period of time will not be able to acted on.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: I can assure the member that the member who raised the matter with me by way of privilege—not yourself, of course—will receive an answer as soon as I have finished question time. I will be sending him an answer.
