Voting — Correction

For the vote on the Death with Dignity Bill last night, I inadvertently missed Heather Roy’s proxy vote. I apologise to you, Mr Speaker, and to the House, and I seek the leave of the House for Heather Roy’s vote for the Ayes to be recorded.

💬 Mr SPEAKER: Leave is sought for that to be done. Is there any objection? There is not. It will be so done. The result is now declared as Ayes 58, Noes 60, Abstentions 1.

I just want to clarity that result from the vote last night. By adding 1 to the Ayes, how did it take 1 off the Noes? Could you clarify it?
