Business Statement
Next week the main items of business for the House will be the Committee stage and third reading of the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Bill, the second reading of the Injury Prevention, Rehabilitation and Compensation Amendment Bill, the second reading of the Crimes Amendment Bill (No 6), and the supplementary estimates, including the second reading of the Imprest Supply Bill.
Can the Leader of the House assure us that there will not be any urgency next week, given the list of bills he has read out, because it seems a fairly ambitious list?
No, I think that if the member goes through it again he will find that all of those are time-limited debates, except the Committee stage of the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Bill.
